Tech Ops Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Tech Ops Engineer will be responsible for ensuring system uptime and integrity, documenting technical designs, and monitoring daily operations during overnight shifts from 1 AM to 9 AM EST.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain system uptime and integrity of customer systems through effective architecture and management
- Document technical designs and create training materials for operational processes
- Monitor server hardware, software, and operating systems while managing installations and upgrades in various environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise in system administration for Debian-based distributions
- Proficiency in computer networks, IT security, and various hosting environments
- Experience with databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ansible
