Technical Architect

Job Summary

To support a public sector client, the part-time Technical Architect will design and implement Azure environments, build CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure lifecycle operations while working remotely on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure sandbox or landing-zone environments using Terraform
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and similar DevOps tools
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle operations, including scaling and cost controls

Required qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure platform engineering
• Deep expertise in Terraform, including module design and lifecycle management
• Experience with Azure infrastructure components such as VNet, NSGs, and AKS
• Understanding of OIDC/federated identity between GitHub and Azure
• Experience in public sector or highly governed enterprise environments is a plus
