Technical Architect - South Carolina

Job Summary

Working remotely with occasional onsite meetings, the full-time Enterprise Technical Architect - IBM z/OS Storage will influence strategic technology initiatives, manage technical roadmaps, and provide guidance on emerging technologies to ensure alignment with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Influences technology-driven initiatives and develops enterprise technical architecture through consulting and analysis
• Researches and evaluates emerging technologies to ensure business alignment and compliance with security requirements
• Leads cross-functional discussions to assess vendor solutions and technical appropriateness while building trusted relationships across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Associates degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience or 13 years of total work experience)
• 9 years of related IT experience and 2 years in corporate planning or strategic development
• Strong technical, industry, and business relationships to achieve goals through technology
• Experience with IBM z/OS storage environments and related technologies
• Excellent writing skills for developing analysis work products and white papers
