Technical Business Systems Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a temporary contract basis, a hands-on Technical Business Systems Analyst will gather and document functional and technical requirements, create technical artifacts, and analyze data interactions, primarily in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
- Create Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), data mappings, system flows, and API/integration documentation
- Analyze data and application interactions using SQL and systems analysis techniques
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or former Developer in an analysis-focused role
- Hands-on experience creating and interpreting Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs)
- Strong data mapping experience across applications, interfaces, and data sources
- Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Experience analyzing and documenting APIs, integrations, and interface contracts
