Technical Certification Engineer
Job Summary
Managing product compliance and certification initiatives, the remote Technical Certification Engineer will ensure networking hardware and software meet international compliance requirements while coordinating with regulatory labs and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead product compliance and certification initiatives, ensuring adherence to CE Marking and EU Directives
- Coordinate certification activities with external test laboratories and internal teams for timely product approvals
- Analyze regulatory requirements and develop compliance documentation while championing the use of AI to enhance processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and product certifications, including CE Marking and EU Directives
- Strong project management experience in a remote environment
- Knowledge of Common Criteria (CC), FIPS, CRA, and cloud compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and technical writing skills for translating compliance requirements
