Technical Compliance Engineer
Job Summary
To support a leading technology company focused on networking, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions, the Technical Compliance Certification Engineer will drive product certification initiatives, ensure compliance with global regulatory standards, and collaborate with engineering teams and testing labs in a long-term remote contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Lead product certification and compliance projects for hardware, software, and cloud-based technologies
- Coordinate testing activities with third-party laboratories and regulatory bodies
- Author and maintain compliance documentation, certification reports, and declarations of conformity
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in product compliance, certification engineering, or regulatory affairs
- Expertise with CE Marking and EU Directives including EMC, LVD, RED, and RoHS
- Experience with Common Criteria (CC), FIPS, CRA, or cloud compliance programs
- Strong project management background with experience leading certification efforts
