Technical Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Technical Consultant will manage the technical design, configuration, and ongoing health of data integrations between customer institutions and the EdSights platform, ensuring secure and reliable data transfers while collaborating with various internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end configuration of customer integrations, coordinating with customer IT teams and EdSights stakeholders throughout the integration lifecycle
• Provide ongoing technical ownership and support for customer integrations, troubleshooting issues and maintaining existing configurations as needs evolve
• Own the setup and maintenance of SFTP-based data imports and exports, ensuring data accuracy and reliability while managing the migration of legacy partners to automated integrations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role, preferably in a SaaS or EdTech environment
• Strong project management skills with experience leading multiple concurrent technical projects from discovery through delivery
• Proficient in working with structured data files, including analyzing, mapping, and troubleshooting data between systems
• Deep understanding of data integrations, secure file transfers, and SFTP workflows, with a strong preference for experience in SQL
• Experience building and maintaining internal documentation and processes to enhance scalability and repeatability
