Technical Developer Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time contract basis, the Technical Developer Specialist will troubleshoot and improve beta projects within the Roblox ecosystem, providing technical guidance and documentation to enhance developer experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Test projects in beta to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Help debug technical issues and collaborate with engineering and internal teams for deeper investigations
- Create and improve technical documentation, examples, and best practices for developers
Required qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with Roblox Studio, including core building tools and asset management
- Strong proficiency in Lua/Luau scripting and implementing advanced game mechanics
- Typically 4+ years of active development on Roblox or similar interactive 3D platforms
- Expertise in specialized areas such as 3D modeling and UI design
- Excellent communication skills for breaking down complex technical concepts
