Job Summary
Leading preconstruction efforts, the full-time Technical Due Diligence Lead will manage estimating, bid packaging, and constructability processes remotely, ensuring projects are properly scoped and fundable before construction begins.
Key responsibilities
- Develop estimates, bid templates, and detailed take-offs using estimating technology
- Assemble comprehensive proposal packages including scope, procurement plans, and critical-path schedules
- Support Target Value Design and facilitate the handoff to the Construction Manager at Move-to-Construction
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in commercial preconstruction, estimating, or bid packaging
- Hands-on estimating experience with a focus on maintaining basis-of-estimate files
- Proven vendor coverage practices and ability to manage bid day processes effectively
- Experience building critical-path bid schedules and work-package structures
