Technical Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Technical Engineering Lead will oversee the technical direction, hiring, and performance management for the development of Sysdig's runtime agent, while working remotely from Spain.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and growth of the engineering team responsible for the runtime agent
- Review designs and code, unblock team members on complex issues, and engage in hands-on technical work
- Collaborate with product and security teams to integrate new functionalities while maintaining performance and stability
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Extensive background in building and operating performance-critical systems software (C, C++)
- Deep knowledge of OS internals and instrumentation techniques such as eBPF or kernel modules
- Experience with distributed systems and understanding of reliability and performance trade-offs
- Familiarity with containerized and orchestrated systems (Kubernetes, containerd)
