Technical Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the engineering team for Coordination of Benefits (COB), the full-time remote Technical Engineering Manager will build a scalable, AI-driven, cloud-native solution, overseeing architecture, technical direction, and team development while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, technical roadmap, and production releases for the COB product, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Hire, develop, and retain a team of engineers, investing in their coaching and performance management
- Partner with product, ML, UX, and operations teams to translate requirements into actionable work with measurable targets
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical leadership and engineering management experience
- 8+ years of experience building production backend services and applications
- Hands-on experience with microservice architectures on containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Java, GoLang, Scala, or Rust
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
