Technical Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the engineering team for Coordination of Benefits (COB), the full-time remote Technical Engineering Manager will build a scalable, AI-driven, cloud-native solution, overseeing architecture, technical direction, and team development while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, technical roadmap, and production releases for the COB product, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Hire, develop, and retain a team of engineers, investing in their coaching and performance management
• Partner with product, ML, UX, and operations teams to translate requirements into actionable work with measurable targets

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical leadership and engineering management experience
• 8+ years of experience building production backend services and applications
• Hands-on experience with microservice architectures on containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Java, GoLang, Scala, or Rust
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
