Job Summary
Leading application and platform engineering efforts, the full-time Technical Lead - Application Engineering will architect, develop, and optimize advisor and client-facing applications while ensuring compliance with financial industry security standards, with options for hybrid and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end engineering for advisor and client platforms, focusing on performance, scalability, and security
- Architect distributed microservices and guide frontend engineering using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Oversee the full SDLC within Agile frameworks, driving quality and high-velocity delivery
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in application/platform engineering with a strong leadership background
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs; experience with Python and ReactJS
- Hands-on experience with API design, SaaS orchestration, and AI-enabling integrations
- Familiarity with cloud engineering (preferably Azure), containers, and CI/CD practices
- Working knowledge of identity and access engineering, SQL/NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures
