Job Summary
Leading architecture and technical delivery in a hybrid work environment, the Technical Lead - Cloud Platforms will translate complex travel-industry requirements into scalable engineering solutions, guiding the modernization of airline and distribution platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical delivery across airline API and GDS workstreams
- Design and guide the modernization of legacy services into AWS-based microservices and event-driven architectures
- Provide technical leadership across Java/Spring Boot services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Deep knowledge of the airline/travel domain and GDS platforms
- Experience designing scalable solutions on AWS, including ECS/EKS and API Gateway
- Proven experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
