Technical Lead Databricks Developer
Job Summary
To support a leading healthcare and biotechnology organization, the full-time Technical Lead Databricks Developer will design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks Lakehouse architecture while collaborating with architects and engineers to optimize data pipelines and governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and lead engineers to design and build solutions that meet enterprise requirements
- Architect, build, and manage complex, scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming data processing
- Implement and manage Databricks workflows orchestration, leveraging Unity Catalog for data governance
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience implementing at least one enterprise project end-to-end within Databricks
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, and data governance principles
- Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, and Spark-SQL, with knowledge of Apache Spark and Hive
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and advanced analytical problem-solving
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging with enterprise clients
