Technical Lead in Data Science
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership for data science and AI/ML initiatives, the full-time Technical Lead in Data Science will support U.S. Army enterprise data modernization on Palantir Foundry, overseeing teams of data scientists and engineers while formulating AI/ML-based decision-making frameworks and models in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the work of data scientists, engineers, and developers in the AI/ML workstream
- Design and deliver AI/ML models and frameworks that drive business and mission outcomes
- Evaluate and communicate the value of AI/ML solutions through defined success metrics and performance analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 8+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or AI/ML solution delivery
- Advanced expertise in designing and delivering AI/ML models and decision-making frameworks
- Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms such as Power BI and Palantir Foundry
- An active Secret security clearance is required
