Technical Lead with Public Trust
Job Summary
To support a Federal client with a business and IT modernization project, the remote Technical Lead with Public Trust will guide the engineering direction of the ERAS Platform, ensuring adherence to technical practices while overseeing software development activities, including backend APIs and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical approach for all software development activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and security protocols
- Oversee integration with USDA mission systems and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and CircleCI
- Collaborate daily with the Product Owner and design team to ensure effective project execution
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years in a technical lead or senior role
- Experience with cloud-hosted federal systems and knowledge of agile development practices
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and federal security standards
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional are a plus
