Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Serving as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of solar PV and energy storage assets, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will engage with clients, oversee operational support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and provide technical expertise for a portfolio of 250-350 MW of distributed solar assets
- Coordinate service activities with field partners and oversee ticket management for service requests
- Lead the technical aspects of the Commercial Battery Energy Storage System program, including sales support and operational implementation
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a solar technician, installer, or similar role, with at least 2 years in Commercial Solar
- Experience with 1000V+ DC systems, 3-phase AC interconnections, and advanced system diagnostics for projects over 500kW
- 4+ years of professional experience in the solar energy industry, demonstrating leadership in account management or operations
- Familiarity with energy storage technologies and solar monitoring DAS platforms
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
