Job Summary
To support a growing Blockchain Incubator, the part-time Technical Operations Support Engineer will develop diagnostic tools, monitor production systems for various blockchain applications, and manage incident responses while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a support framework, including diagnostic tools and user documentation
- Proactively monitor production systems for blockchain applications like Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Serve as the first line of defense for off-hours incidents, utilizing software development knowledge for issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience in technical operations support or DevOps
- Proficiency in the full production incident lifecycle, including root cause analysis
- Experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or Go, and version control using Git
