Technical Product Manager
Job Summary
Owning the core database and degree audit system, the remote Technical Product Manager will set direction for a squad of engineers and serve as the technical expert while collaborating with implementation, integration, and customer success teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a squad of 4-6 engineers in the development and management of the degree audit system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, drive user acceptance testing, and ensure successful implementation
- Serve as the technical expert on data models and systems, guiding the integration of the degree audit system with other business processes
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with degree audit systems such as Degree Works, CourseLeaf, or Coursedog
- Strong technical understanding of data systems and databases
- Knowledge of higher education domain, including course catalogs and curriculum management
- Experience working in a squad or cross-functional team model
- Proven ability to lead discovery, write documentation, and drive user acceptance testing
