Technical Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning products end-to-end, the full-time remote Technical Product Manager will lead customer discovery, define product specifications, and collaborate with engineering to build and improve a grid planning and interconnection platform for developers and utilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer conversations to understand the needs of power systems experts and project developers
• Identify valuable problems to solve and scope product releases, balancing immediate needs with long-term improvements
• Define product requirements through written specifications, mockups, and prototypes, ensuring clarity for the development team

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or engineering, with a proven track record of owning products from discovery through launch
• Experience building with LLMs or agents, with a practical understanding of their capabilities and failure modes
• Strong customer discovery skills, capable of engaging with technical domain experts and translating needs into product features
• Clear written and visual communication skills for expressing product decisions effectively
• Passion for grid planning and interconnection, with the ability to quickly become effective in unfamiliar technical domains
