Technical Product Owner
Job Summary
Working remotely from the East Coast or Central U.S., the full-time Technical Product Owner will manage the product lifecycle from release planning through delivery, collaborating with stakeholders and developers to shape the product roadmap and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Products to set the product vision and prioritize feature requirements
- Lead development sprints by breaking down epics into stories, managing the Jira backlog, and facilitating Agile ceremonies
- Engage in code reviews and technical design discussions, ensuring delivered functionality meets both technical and functional standards
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government clearance
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent hands-on software development experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner and 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Atlassian Agile products, specifically JIRA and Confluence
- Working proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem sufficient for code reviews and feedback
