Technical Product Owner
Job Summary
Partnering closely with Product Managers and engineering teams, the full-time remote Technical Product Owner - Data Products will translate business needs into well-defined requirements and manage the product backlog for data-focused applications in the financial sector.
Key responsibilities
- Define business requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product Managers and stakeholders
- Translate product initiatives into epics, user stories, and technical requirements while maintaining a prioritized product backlog
- Write SQL queries for data validation and conduct user acceptance testing of features, integrations, and APIs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or related field preferred
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Business Analyst in a software development environment
- Strong experience managing Agile backlogs and sprint planning
- Advanced SQL experience for data validation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in documenting API requirements and validating integrations
