Technical Product Owner
Job Summary
Partnering closely with Product Managers and engineering teams, the full-time remote Technical Product Owner will translate business needs into well-defined requirements for data-focused applications, managing the product backlog and leading Agile delivery processes.
Key responsibilities
- Define business requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Translate product initiatives into epics, user stories, and technical requirements while owning the product backlog
- Write SQL queries for data validation, conduct user acceptance testing, and monitor data quality across applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or related field preferred
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Business Analyst in a software development environment
- Strong experience managing Agile backlogs and conducting sprint planning and refinement sessions
- Advanced SQL experience for data validation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in documenting API requirements and validating integrations
