Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Technical Product Owner will manage the day-to-day health and growth of the CBT Nuggets website and Assessments platform, directing AI coding agents to implement changes while ensuring quality and documentation standards are met.

Key responsibilities:

• Own a backlog for assigned products, translating product intent into detailed specifications for AI agents
• Direct AI coding agents through the complete change lifecycle, including implementation, review, and production verification
• Critically review all changes and maintain accurate operator documentation to ensure compliance and clarity

Required qualifications:

• Five or more years of experience in IT or software, with a focus on production systems
• At least one year of experience directing AI coding agents to deliver production software
• Two or more years of product ownership or technical product management experience
• Proficiency in GitHub, including pull requests and CI processes, and familiarity with relational databases like Postgres
• Strong written communication skills, capable of producing clear specifications and recommendations
