Technical Program Manager, Security

Job Summary

To lead Infrastructure Security initiatives, the remote eligible Staff Technical Program Manager, Security will manage projects that protect Airbnb's cloud and data infrastructure, collaborating with security engineers and senior leaders to ensure high-quality standards and stakeholder alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction of infrastructure security projects, ensuring stakeholder needs are met through iterative development cycles
• Define measurable success criteria for security initiatives and regularly assess risks and opportunities for proactive mitigation
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, presenting outcomes and updates to senior leadership effectively

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience, including at least 8 years as a Technical Program Manager or in a relevant role
• Hands-on technical experience in infrastructure security, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection
• Proven ability to work through ambiguity and drive initiatives to completion
• Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment with a track record of influencing results
• Familiarity with incremental delivery and deployment processes
