Job Summary
Supporting CMS's Digital Quality Initiative, the full-time remote Technical Project Manager will manage technical project planning, coordination, and delivery across multiple teams, focusing on FHIR-based interoperability and data exchange within the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities
- Translate DQI strategy into actionable technical roadmaps and implementation plans while coordinating activities across CCSQ teams
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and issues across DQI workstreams, ensuring timely decision-making and progress tracking
- Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into technical delivery status, milestones, and areas requiring attention through dashboards and status reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects, preferably in healthcare or federal government environments
- Demonstrated experience leading technical projects with multiple systems and interdependent workstreams
- Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability and FHIR standards
- Experience developing executive-level reporting and technical roadmaps for complex initiatives
