Technical Project Manager
Job Summary
To support client programs, the contract Technical Project Manager will work remotely for over 2 months, focusing on defining, developing, and executing critical projects while collaborating with various stakeholders and managing project resources in a matrixed environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop project plans, risk registers, and resource needs while identifying critical path items and mitigation strategies
- Lead technology project delivery, managing implementation processes including status, metrics, change control, QA, and testing
- Proactively monitor cross-project dependencies, risks, and issues, building mitigation plans as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years of experience in technology project management with tools like MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel
- Understanding of SDLC using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Proven success in executing large, complex, multi-year projects
- PMI certification and Agile certifications (PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) desirable
