Technical Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Technical Revenue Accounting and Policy Manager, the successful candidate will develop and maintain ASC 606 policy frameworks, deliver well-documented accounting conclusions on complex deals, and support timely revenue results through close-related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a current ASC 606 policy framework to ensure compliance with new products and pricing models
• Deliver sound accounting conclusions on complex deals by reviewing strategic and non-standard contracts
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address revenue considerations before contract signing

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606, including performance obligations and variable consideration
• Experience in technology, consumer products, subscription, and/or recurring revenue environments
• Proven ability to review contracts and document accounting conclusions for revenue-related matters
• Strong technical writing skills for preparing concise accounting memos and policy documentation
