Technical Specialist I
Job Summary
To support the backend infrastructure for Laboratory systems, the full-time Technical Specialist I will implement and maintain the Enterprise's central computer center systems, databases, and network software while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating on-call coverage approximately every six weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain central computer systems, databases, and network resources to support medical and business applications
- Resolve vulnerabilities, perform application upgrades, and support patching and automation using Tanium
- Develop relationships with vendors and maintain compatibility and stability of database, system, and network software packages
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technology field (additional experience may offset degree requirement)
- Two years of related central data processing experience
- Experience with advanced systems programming processes and system design
- Knowledge of applications programming, communications concepts, and database administration strategies
- Infrastructure-server experience
