Technical Staff Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Member of Technical Staff will collaborate with the founding team to develop production systems that integrate healthcare data, AI, and patient-facing tools, focusing on agentic clinical workflows and multimodal engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-step agents for clinical workflows that consider claims, formularies, geography, and member preferences
- Develop proactive engagement strategies using voice, SMS, email, and chat to facilitate communication between clinicians and patients
- Create a structured knowledge management layer for LLMs to reliably reason over clinical and payer information
Required qualifications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to quickly learn new languages and domains
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-driven development and experience using LLM-based tools
- A bias toward shipping working prototypes over extensive architectural debates
- Intellectual curiosity about healthcare and comfort with ambiguity
