Technical Staff Member, Model Training

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Member of Technical Staff, Model Training will develop and optimize models for language, vision-language, and robotics applications, managing the full model development lifecycle from dataset design to production deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Train and adapt models using supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and imitation learning techniques
• Build simulation-based training environments to enhance policy learning and task generalization
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition prototypes into scalable, production-ready systems

Required qualifications

• Strong foundations in machine learning and deep learning with hands-on experience in training modern AI models
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch for developing training and evaluation pipelines
• Experience with model adaptation techniques such as fine-tuning and reinforcement learning
• Ability to translate application requirements into measurable model objectives and performance benchmarks
• Solid software engineering fundamentals for building maintainable systems
