Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time contracted capacity, the Technical UI Designer will build, implement, and polish UI features and animations in Unreal Engine, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality game production.
Key responsibilities:
- Build, implement, and polish UI features and systems using Unreal Engine, UMG, and Blueprints
- Own UI animation motion design, transitions, and reactive states from concept through final implementation
- Collaborate with UX designers, UI artists, and engineers to bring features from spec to shipping
Required qualifications:
- Professional experience implementing UI in a shipped game, using Unreal Engine (UMG + Blueprints) or equivalent engine
- Strong animation sensibility with the ability to build animations independently
- Experience with visual scripting languages (Blueprints, Lua, or equivalent)
- Ability to read and act on feedback from leads, UX, and QA without friction
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating shipped UI work implementation quality
