Job Summary
To support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War customer, the full-time Technical Writer and Knowledge Manager will develop and maintain technical documentation, manage a knowledge base for support analysts, and ensure operational consistency in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, capture, and maintain technical documentation, including operational runbooks and known-issue lists
- Own and maintain the knowledge base for support analysts, ensuring information is accurate and accessible
- Coordinate documentation inputs for monthly status reports to ensure consistent program reporting
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or knowledge management supporting software operations teams
- Experience using Confluence and Jira for documentation and team collaboration
- Ability to develop and maintain clear, organized technical and operational documentation
