Technical Writer and Trainer
Job Summary
To support a large-scale federal healthcare modernization initiative, the full-time remote Trainer / Technical Writer will develop high-quality technical documentation and training materials while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to translate complex concepts into user-friendly content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain technical and end-user documentation for enterprise applications and business processes
- Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training materials and sessions for end users
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather documentation requirements and evaluate training effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or technical training
- Demonstrated experience creating documentation for software or enterprise technology
- Experience developing and delivering training materials for technical or application-based training
- Familiarity with Agile software development or technology implementation environments
