Job Summary
To support the Product Enablement team, a part-time, fixed-term Technical Writer - Australia will reorganize, update, and expand the ZonePayroll Knowledge Base while creating onboarding modules for customers and new hires, working approximately 14 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Audit and prioritize content gaps in the Knowledge Base using support ticket data and analytics
- Reorganize the Knowledge Base structure for improved findability and readability, following best practices
- Create multimedia content and onboarding modules based on identified customer activities and instructional design principles
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of technical writing experience with Help Center or Knowledge Base content
- 2+ years of experience in developing on-demand learning or onboarding content using instructional design principles
- Demonstrated experience creating multimedia learning content, including screenshots and short videos
- Working experience with Jira for interpreting engineering tickets
