Job Summary

To build essential product documentation for a B2B SaaS platform, the remote Technical Writer for Product Documentation will focus on creating API references, integration guides, and end-to-end user journeys over a 6-month contract, with potential for conversion to part-time or full-time based on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Document API and integration processes for core modules, ensuring accuracy and clarity
• Create comprehensive end-to-end user journeys to fill existing documentation gaps
• Maintain up-to-date structured FAQ and self-serve reference content as product updates are released

Required qualifications

• Proven experience writing technical/API documentation for B2B SaaS products, with a portfolio or samples
• Ability to read API specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to verify documentation accuracy
• Experience documenting integration-heavy or workflow-heavy products, with a focus on marketplace or CRM systems
• Capability to work independently against a backlog while identifying and flagging ambiguities
• Strong emphasis on accuracy in documentation, prioritizing factual correctness over presentation polish
