Technical Writer I
Job Summary
To support the Adversary FST, the full-time Technical Writer I will produce and route technical manual changes, modify revisions, and develop new manuals using FrameMaker and Adobe software, working remotely from Florida or North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and route technical manual changes and revisions while utilizing FrameMaker software
- Revise or write standardized materials for reports, manuals, and related publications
- Create and edit illustrations/figures and produce PDFs in accordance with NATEC requirements
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of general editorial experience with proficiency in punctuation and grammar
- Two years of specialized experience in FrameMaker editing military manuals
- Experience with Adobe DC PDF software suite and other computer applications for publishing
- Technical publication experience, preferably with NAVAIR standards
