Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Job Summary

Supporting the Cloud Native Access Point (CNAP) initiative, the full-time remote Technical Writer with Security Clearance will write, edit, and maintain technical, security, and program documents for Department of Defense users, collaborating closely with engineers and program offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and write functional descriptions, system specifications, and user manuals, including information security documents
• Transform engineer drafts into clear, organized documents such as system design documents and standard operating procedures
• Update security and user documentation in line with CNAP deployments and assist in preparing security accreditation documents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 2 years of professional technical writing or editing experience
• Experience writing or editing documents for a federal government customer
• Active Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required
