Technology Category Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing over $250M in annual IT spend, the full-time Technology Category Manager will lead procurement strategies for software, telecom, infrastructure, and cybersecurity projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develops enterprise-wide procurement strategies in collaboration with stakeholders for technology spending
• Leads direct negotiations and full-lifecycle competitive sourcing events, advising senior executives on strategy and risk mitigation
• Manages supplier performance and contracting processes to ensure alignment with business interests

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, supply chain, or operations transformation, preferably with top-tier consulting experience
• Proven track record of delivering financial and operational value in procurement projects
• Working knowledge of IT categories such as software/SaaS, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement or similar source-to-pay platforms preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred or equivalent experience considered
