Job Summary
Detail-oriented and self-directed, the full-time remote Telecom Joint Use Engineer will manage the review and preparation of joint-use packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness while supporting FTTH and Ethernet programs for a Texas-based client.
Key responsibilities
- Review and prepare joint-use packages, ensuring all poles are accounted for and reconciling against various documentation
- Create and update KMZ files and maintain make-ready sheets and change requests
- Build and maintain process documentation, including flow charts and SOPs for workflows
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in telecom joint use, make-ready, permitting, or OSP
- Ability to read and interpret work prints, pole data, and OSP construction drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace tools
- Experience creating and editing KMZ files in GIS tools
- Availability for at least 5 hours per day between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time for training and collaboration
