Telecom Project Manager

Job Summary

To lead the delivery of complex telecommunications and managed services projects, the full-time Telecom Project Manager will manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, overseeing cross-functional teams and coordinating with carrier partners in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent telecommunications and managed services projects from initiation through successful completion and closeout
• Oversee infrastructure projects including Ethernet, SD-WAN, GPON, and firewall implementations across multiple customer sites
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in project management or operations roles within telecommunications or managed services for mid-level; 7+ years for senior-level
• Experience with telecom and network infrastructure projects, including Ethernet, SD-WAN, GPON, and firewall deployments
• Ability to manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, with senior PMs handling multi-million dollar initiatives
• Proficiency with project management tools, ticketing systems, and business intelligence or reporting platforms
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to direct cross-functional teams and mentor other project managers
