Telecommunications BIM Designer

Job Summary

To deliver high-quality, clash-free designs for advanced facilities, the remote contract Telecommunications BIM Designer will manage 3D Revit BIM models, coordinate with project teams, and translate senior telecom design intent into constructible deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline BIM leads and project teams
• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to develop coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings
• Estimate design and modeling hours based on project requirements and maintain model consistency with design standards

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of Revit BIM design experience (Revit MEP preferred)
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in telecommunications systems design and construction
• Proficiency in Navisworks and Bluebeam
• Solid understanding of codes, specifications, and wiring/cabling connections
• Ability to estimate design hours based on provided project information
