Job Summary
Working remotely on an hourly basis, the Drafter/Designer will create and draft telecommunications network designs in CADD, ensuring compliance with regulations while collaborating with engineering and construction teams.
Key responsibilities
- Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs using various applications/software
- Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks while coordinating with permitting agencies
- Ensure facility designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and meet project deadlines
Required qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and OSP facility regulations
- Familiarity with applications such as AutoCAD and OSP Communications Design systems
