Job Summary
Working remotely on an hourly basis, the Telecommunications Drafter/Designer will create and draft telecommunications network designs using CADD, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software
- Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks while coordinating with Engineering and Construction departments
- Ensure facility designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) requirements
Required qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering experience required
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and OSP facilities regulations
