Job Summary
To support voice, data, and related communications systems, the full-time Telecommunications Engineering Specialist will evaluate customer requirements, diagnose system issues, and coordinate installation and maintenance efforts in a remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate customer requirements and recommend solutions for voice, data, and network communications
- Diagnose telecommunications and network issues, coordinating corrective actions and monitoring system performance
- Prepare and maintain system diagrams, facility layouts, and oversee installation and maintenance activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Three or more years of experience in telecommunications engineering, installation, maintenance, or operations
- Experience developing or interpreting system diagrams and technical specifications
- Relevant telecommunications, networking, cabling, or vendor certifications preferred
- Experience coordinating telecommunications work with users and technical teams
