Telecommute Associate Editor

Job Summary

A fast-paced educational publisher is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Associate Editor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Working with nonfiction content for electronic/digital publishing program for grades K–12
• Completing content assessment, adaptation, and/or creation
• Editing, copyediting, and proofreading in an online environment

Position Requirements Include:

• Very occasional travel to conferences or NYC for meetings
• Exceptional editorial, communication, organizational, and proofreading/copyediting skills
• Experience editing in an online environment
