Telecommute Associate Network Engineer

Job Summary

A networking and infrastructure equipment manufacturer is in need of a Telecommute Associate Network Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Open tickets, diagnose, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues with remote clients' networks
• Provide and maintain thorough documentation of client systems
• Foster a spirit of collaboration with clients and teammates by coaching and sharing knowledge

Qualifications for this position include:

• Advanced understanding of network protocols, firewalls, routers, switching, TCP/IP, STP and RF coverage
• Networking experience (1-3 years preferred) and current CCNA certification (or equivalent)
• Advanced understanding of wireless local area networks, authentication, security, and encryption protocols
• Bachelor's degree
• Able to solve complex technical problems while under pressure and interfacing with clients
• Experience supporting customer environments in a helpdesk/support capacity
