Telecommute DevOps Manager
Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute DevOps Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Helping build and scale a world-class infrastructure team by sourcing and hiring candidates
- Taking ownership of reliability, operational excellence and developer experience
- Holding systematic weekly 1:1 touch points with engineers to deliver and receive quality feedback
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering industry experience
- 3+ years' experience of technical leadership over an infrastructure team
- BS or MS degree from a university in a technical discipline (e.g. CS, Math, Engineering)
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes on AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with Terraform
- Strong expertise with Linux (Ubuntu) and experience with managing at least one database
