About the Contract

This is the contract you’re looking for if you’re willing to play the long game.

Job Quality Specialists (JQS) categorize job board search filters so jobseekers can quickly find new telecommute job postings that match their search criteria. Accuracy is a requirement.  

We’re not going to sugarcoat this - the JQS contract can be difficult to learn in the beginning. We provide all of the tools and feedback to be successful, but ultimately, it’s up to you to learn our software and processes to make the contract worthwhile.  

If you don’t invest the time to learn the job, review quality feedback, and stretch yourself to improve your time daily this won't work. We've seen it happen before and we’d rather not see a repeat, so if you don’t have the time and interest to learn a new tool and processes, this is not the right contract for you.

The Schedule

Contractors must be able to complete their contracted work within the timeframe of 6:30AM eastern - 12:30PM eastern every day, Monday through Friday. The specific time(s) you choose to complete your work is based on your schedule.

We have some contractors who start at 6:30am and are done by 7:30am; other contractors start at 8:00am and work in 15 minute spurts until they reach their contracted amount; and we have other contractors who start working at 10:30am and finish at 12:30pm. As long as the contract is met before 12:30pm eastern, when and how you work is entirely up to you.

Fair warning - in the beginning, you will most likely NOT be able to complete your contract in one hour as our veteran contractors do. It takes  everyone  time to learn new software and guidelines. How long it takes you to learn our processes and guidelines depends on you.

The Pay

This is a 1099 contractor position that pays per job ad accurately entered and added to our job board. It's a piece-work contract that pays around $30 per contract.

Based on what we’ve seen, it takes some new contractors 4 hours per day to complete their contract while others can do it in an hour and half. Our top-performing contractors are highly efficient and are able to post job ads to our board in a faster amount of time and they earn $45-$60 for one hour of work.

Job Quality Specialist Tasks

To help ensure a positive experience for our customers, contractors working as Job Quality Specialists are responsible for:

Reviewing and verifying information in online employment ads

Identifying key points in employment ads enter data into a proprietary system

Accurately selecting search filters to ensure customer queries return accurate results

Meeting daily contract deliverables

Self-checking work for accuracy and completeness

Responding to management requests for information the same day

Complying with data integrity and security policies

Job Quality Specialist Required Skills

The ability to read and follow lengthy process documentation

Speed reading. Must be able to quickly read and recognize pertinent data

Proficient web-based research skills

Intermediate computer skills

Fluent typing

Exceptional spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills

The ability to write and speak English fluently

The capability to follow directions, adhere to established guidelines, and learn from constructive feedback

The skills to effectively communicate in a remote environment. This is a big one since we're a 100% virtual company

Independent Contractor Requirements

As an Independent Contractor, your work-from-home business will need a personal desktop computer or laptop; work cannot be performed on a smartphone or tablet.

Desktop/laptop must meet the following requirements

Processor - 1 GHz Intel Pentium P4 processor or better

Memory - minimum of 1 GB of RAM Memory

Operating System – must be one of the following: Windows Vista Professional Edition, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10

Browser – Google Chrome

Java – must be Java 8.4 or higher

Monitor – must be capable of displaying at least 1024 X 768 pixels

Current Anti-Virus software with updated definitions

Current anti-spyware software

Firewall installed and operating -or- Windows firewall turned on

Internet

Subscription to a reliable, high-speed, hard-wired, bi-directional Internet connection, DSL or Cable

No satellite or wireless Internet service

3 Mbps downstream, or greater

1 Mbps upstream or greater

Office Set Up

Comfortable and ergonomically safe furniture and office set-up

Distraction free environment

Tools Needed

Google compatible email account (no hotmail)

Slack account. Use of Slack for direct communication is required for this contract

A Virtual Vocations account. You don’t have to be a paying customer but you do need to create a free account so we can grant you Admin access to our system.
