Telecommute Medical Billing Specialist
Job Summary
A financial services company is seeking a Telecommute Medical Billing Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform complete chart reviews
- Extract information from medical records, operative notes, invoices, progress notes and discharges
- Pull & Prep operative notes from our designated transcription company
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Excellent knowledge of health care billing procedures
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel a must
- At least 2-5 years of medical billing experience
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients
